Reinforced slabs, bay by bay
Mesh set out on spacers, reinforcing run to the edges, and the concrete poured one bay at a time.
A slab is only as good as what is under the concrete. These photographs show the reinforcing going down and the pours that follow it.

Setting out the reinforcing
Mesh is laid and spaced on brick spacers, bay by bay, so it sits inside the slab rather than on the ground beneath it.

Pouring
The concrete is poured along the building line and worked up to the reinforcing at the edge, with the next section's mesh already down beside the last one.
